Sharon Logan has filed bankruptcy.

Speaking of deadbeatery: Five-time financial felon Sharon Jean Logan filed bankruptcy on August 27, 2022. Below is her Petition and list of creditors.

Her $500K-plus (counting interest) in unpaid, court-ordered criminal restitution to her theft victims can’t be discharged, to our understanding. (We’ll look into that further.) However, she is trying to discharge her civil debt to her former employer Hanover Commercial Services, from whom she was convicted of embezzling about $250,000 (See previous post for court file.)

Highlights:

Logan — who has eight theft convictions, most recently two felonies in 2017 — claims she works as the office manager for a law firm, headquartered in Newport Beach. (Update: She’s no longer at the firm, so we removed their name. We figured they’ve been through enough.) She has worked there for nine months. In our experience, law office managers have access to confidential client information, including financial information, and they deal with money. (It’s certainly possible, however, that the firm defines office manager duties differently.)

Logan lives in Fountain Valley, not in a beach community as she claims. (The small house is not owned by Logan, according to property records. We believe she rents a room there.)

  1. Thank you for this article. I will also like to convey that it can be hard while you are in school and merely starting out to establish a long history of credit. There are many students who are just simply trying to make it and have a lengthy or positive credit history can sometimes be a difficult issue to have.
