Activist Sharon Logan, of Paw Protectors, Inc., is a six-time financial felon. Don't be her next victim.

Sharon Jean Logan, a freelance bookkeeper who runs the nonprofit Paw Protectors, has a lengthy history of stealing from those close to her, including employers. The admitted sometime-prostitute is also big on harassment and false accusations (she was even prosecuted for a false rape claim against an ex), for which at least five men have been granted restraining orders against her. Logan has 9 theft or embezzlement convictions (including 6 felonies) ranging from 1999 through 2017. She owes more than $600,000 of court-ordered victim restitution (counting interest), and is not paying it — although she boasts on social media about her upscale tastes and travels. Unlike reformed felons, Logan is dishonest about her bad history. The repeat embezzler recently used a false resume to trick a law firm into hiring her to handle its money – and, when she was fired for alleged incompetence and dishonesty, unsuccessfully claimed harassment and discrimination. She's done that more than once. If you're feeling sorry for Logan that we're blasting her like this, take a look at what she does on social media to anyone who displeases her.

Happy to report we’re making progress on the warning front regarding Five-time Financial Felon, Sharon Logan.

Our goal is to get in the top five Google search results for “Sharon Logan.” We’re not there yet.

But, we’re doing well with “Sharon Jean Logan,” and Sharon Logan Paw Protectors. Even better in Bing and Yahoo. And, we’re at the top when you search her name on Facebook.

Keep in mind, we’re competing in the algorithm against someone whose nonprofit has a Page with 150,000 followers. Reporters have been quoting her uncritically for years regarding animal issues — mainly because a public interest attorney took up her cause in 2014 against Orange County Animal Care, the local animal shelter. (During the same time, Logan was facing charges for ID theft, and for her fourth and fifth financial felonies. That didn’t get reported.)

And face it: No court can force Sharon Logan to change her ways. No government authority can stop her from interacting with the community.

Even if Logan gets arrested or jailed again, she’ll get out. For her last two financial felonies, in which she stole from employers, she was allowed to serve jail on weekends only. Criminal court records usually don’t show up in Internet searches. Logan’s been able to slip through employer radar, even a law firm’s, with a falsified resume.

The only protection against further abuse of trust by Logan is to make it easy for potential targets to find her lengthy history of theft, financial irresponsibility, and harassment. That’s why we’re doing this.
